Pinned it and DID IT!

So, like many, after opening a Pinterest account, I was hooked. I loved looking at the diy section and particularly the cute outfits and blankets people were sewing. Then, after reading many tutorials, I thought, "I can do that!" I enlisted the help of good friend Laura Schwieterman and "made" my first blanket for Emma.

We hand ruffled that edge! That's a test people! A test of patience and courage!

Then I was on my own.... Santa brought me my very own sewing machine and I had to prove that I could sew with no help.

So here's Peyton's blankie. Every stitch was sewn by me! I have a lot of room for improvement but I did it!

It's a cotton front and super soft minky dot back.
She loves it!! ... I hope!
